Hospice care volunteers change lives

Whether you're a student, a veteran or someone who simply wants to make a difference in others' lives, think about becoming a Hospice Hero volunteer. It's a chance to help a patient and their family during the end stage of a serious illness.

Our Hospice Hero volunteers:

  • Provide companionship
  • Support caregivers
  • Share stories, memories or hobbies
  • Run errands
  • Write letters or answer email
  • Plan events or celebrations
  • Sit at the bedside of someone who is actively dying
  • Support grieving families and friends after their loved one dies
